One Minute Video

-Jane Maberry

So I wanted to try and see how room-like I could get the courtyard outside Peterson to appear. So I was fine with things like leaves and things, showing that the viewer was actually outside, but I tried to make it feel like an enclosed space. My first draft felt very disconnected, so I tried to make a logical connection between each shot, and keep the brick stone in every one so that it shows it’s all still the same location. The movement I added was very minimal because I didn’t want it to feel too much like this was filmed outside, because I associated rooms inside more with the objects being still.
